Jimmy is based in Glasgow for McCrea Financial Services that became part of One Four Nine Group in February 2023. He has spent over 20 years working in financial services, dealing with pensions and investments. His role is to develop the paraplanning team and to support advisers by preparing recommendation reports through detailed analysis and research as well as assisting with technical enquiries.
Understanding the practicalities of financial advice relating to inheritance tax planning and trusts results in the provision of detailed technical support for the planning team. In turn, this allows us to consider all aspects of clients’ circumstances and wishes as they are guided through complicated but critical decisions.
As an advocate of accreditations, he has reached the highest level he can. In 2014 Jimmy achieved Chartered status through the successful completion of the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and has since obtained the Investment Management Certificate (IMC). In addition to this, he has also completed the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates (Scotland).
A big sports fan, Jimmy follows Hearts having originated in Edinburgh and enjoys golf as well. He also spends his spare time with family and friends on day excursions or evening meals.
