What’s the process?
If you’re thinking about selling or have already decided to sell, you will likely have a lot of questions.
This is completely normal. You’ll want to know what the sales process looks like, who you’ll be working with, what does integration look like and what type of support there will be for your clients, your staff and you post completion. We will listen to you, answer your questions and help you throughout the entire process. Our teams are highly experienced in their profession, within the financial planning industry and with acquiring and integrating businesses.
One Four Nine is all about people. We have dedicated and committed people and teams that understand the journey you are going through. They are there to help your clients, your staff and you pre and post-completion with any challenges that may arise. You will meet everyone at the appropriate time in the process, including our Investments team, Operations, Compliance, Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, IT and Marketing. Integration starts from the first conversation we have [with you] where we start thinking and understanding about your business with a view to moving it into One Four Nine. Now that slowly builds up over time and during due diligence, we have lots of conversations with you. Sometimes workshops with our operational team to really understand what integration involves, how it needs to be tailored to your specific business, and what the timeline looks like. And we’re always very open and honest about our integration pathway. The end state and what it need to get to. It’s in our valuation, it’s in our heads of terms and it’s in our SPA. It’s just a question of how we get there.
