James is based north of Manchester for Rice Whatmough Crozier that became part of One Four Nine Group in October 2021. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and has worked in financial services for his entire career that has helped him develop a thorough understanding of the financial advice process. The most important part of his role is helping clients to meet their goals and to do so, James recognises that every client’s situation and needs are different. Whether a client requires help with investments, pension planning, inheritance tax (IHT) planning or another area of finance he will advise on the most tax efficient way and can also provide specialist advice on Venture Capital Trusts (VCTs) and Enterprise Investment Schemes (EISs).
He holds the PFS Fellowship, Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
Outside of work, James enjoys family life with his wife, Laura, their two children; Edgar and Annie and Betty the Boston Terrier.
