Barry is One Four Nine’s Chief Compliance Officer.
Leading the Group’s Risk and Compliance function, he is the ambassador for compliance culture and standards. Increasing awareness of the Group’s regulatory requirements Barry will work alongside all One Four Nine Wealth Locations providing support on all policies.
With more than two decades of regulatory knowledge in financial services he is best placed to ensure consistent regulatory standards across the Group. Barry is a Chartered Associate of the London Institute of Banking and Finance, a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and was awarded the CASS prize by Newcastle CII in 2016 for the “Meritorious completion of the Diploma in Financial Planning” as well as having successfully completed a master’s degree in financial planning.
