World Mental Health Day – 10 October 2025
Today – Friday 10 October 2025 – is World Mental Health Day 💙🌍
At One Four Nine Group, we believe mental health matters just as much as physical health. Taking care of your mind is essential for your overall wellbeing—both inside and outside of work.
The theme for this year’s World Mental Health Day is: “Overwhelm: When Global Events and Relentless Bad News Become Too Much.”
Constant exposure to negative news from around the world can feel like a lot to process—and that’s because it is. Even if we’re not directly impacted, the weight of ongoing global events can take a real toll on our mental health. While we may not be able to influence everything happening on a global scale, there are steps we can take to protect ourselves and support others when things feel overwhelming. The Mental Health Foundation has put together practical tips to help manage feelings of overwhelm during challenging times, which you can find here.
Everyone deserves good mental health. Talking about how we feel is an important part of that, but starting the conversation isn’t always easy. If you feel you need support, you can find out more about the help available on the Mental Health Foundation website.
Let’s keep working together to build a culture where mental wellbeing is valued, prioritised, and supported.
Mental health matters – not just today, but always.
