Bevan is One Four Nine’s Chief Investment Officer.
He has the responsibility for developing and delivering the model and bespoke portfolios of our in-house discretionary fund manager, One Four Nine Portfolio Management.
Bevan and his team work closely with One Four Nine Wealth Locations to demonstrate how our own model portfolio service strengthens the advice proposition by providing advisers with confidence that their valuable clients’ investments are expertly managed. He provides ongoing additional support in the form of factsheets, financial commentary and analysis, plus high quality updates on portfolio performance that advisers can use to develop their relationship with both clients and introducers.
For over two decades Bevan has built multi-asset portfolios for both institutional and private wealth clients and has led on all aspects of fund management including portfolio risk analysis, asset allocation and fund research. Having previously launched a model portfolio service for financial advisers he is highly regarded for delivering successful investment solutions.
Bevan is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) and obtained a BSc and MSc in Statistics and Operations Research from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He achieved his PhD in accounting and finance from Lancaster University and lectured on the same subject for 2 years
